ADVICE ON INSERTING CARNICA BEES PROPERLY
| The beehive to which bees are destined must be isolated for 24 hours minimum (this is to be considered as a very important notice, especially when the bees are to be mixed with another species). However, when the insertion process involves Carnica bees strictly, the duration can be brought down to 6 hours only. Do not hesitate to water the cages while waiting. Stocking should be undertaken in dark and cool rooms, away from daylight. |

| It moreover is preferable to check that no royal cells can be found. | |
| Also, the younger the receiving bees are, the more successful the insertion will prove to be. | |
| Lastly, there should be at least two frames as well as two covered brood frames, as it helps the Queen to be quickly surrounded and to work |
| A very early insertion should be preferred (for instance at dawn), and, if possible, when honey main flow. |
| Once the beehive is ready, it is necessary to push the lid of the cages containing the Queen forward. |
| Then a little opening filled with Candy should benoticed. |
| This breach will allow the Queens gradual liberation once the Candy will have been totally nibbled by the attendants. The candy can be pierced over 1 to 2 mm with a nail or humidified in order to accelerate the process (depending on the candy hardness). | |
| The cage can be hung from a nylon or an iron line between the two brood frames if perforated in the middle of the top part of the lid. |
| The cage can must be
retired after the first control (12 days)
